Full Day Surf Safari

We operate private surf safaris throughout Cornwall for those looking for a much more unique, personal surfing experience. Our surf safaris are designed not just to help teach people how to surf but to be more of an all round introduction to the surfing lifestyle. From the difference between wetsuits to board design, we can cover all aspects for a much greater headstart in surfing. From complete novices to more advanced surfers each safari is tailored to individual needs.

A typical surf safari for a complete novice or group would consist of:
• Pick up from accommodation onboard our luxury Mercedes Viano
• Assessment of the days surf conditions and explanation on various factors i.e. swell direction, wind direction and speed, best spots to surf in Cornwall dependant on different conditions. We also have on-board internet access to help forecast any change in conditions throughout the day
• Transport to the best surfing beaches (being mobile allows us to avoid crowds in summer)
• Use of top quality wetsuits and a variety of different surfboards
• Private coaching both in and out of the water, as the day moves at your pace you have no time constraints and can break as and when you please
• When you are ready we provide lunch made from local Cornish produce to help refuel for the rest of the day
• Light snacks and refreshments throughout the day
• Later in the day once you have had a few waves under your belt to practicewe will capture your waves on camera for you to take home and keep
• Throughout the day we also give detailed advice on various different topics of surfing including the difference between wetsuits, surfboard design, forecasting surf, different types of waves, waves around the world, fitness and stretches for surfing etc
• Once you have caught the last waves your arms will let you catch we will transport you back to your accommodation
• At the end of the day we can also organise various other activities for special occasions such as champagne on the beach, barbecues etc
